BTS Jungkook's Documentary Jung Kook:
I Am Still
Premieres in Korea on the 18th, Overseas Release Dates in Discussion

The documentary film Jung Kook: I Am Still, focusing on BTS member Jungkook, is set to premiere in Korea on the 18th, with international release dates currently being coordinated.

On the 3rd, CGV announced, "The documentary film Jung Kook: I Am Still, which features BTS's Jungkook, will be released in Korea on the 18th."

They also added, "It is scheduled to be released in over 120 countries worldwide, but specific dates are still being adjusted." This large-scale project reflects Jungkook's growth as a solo artist and BTS's massive global fanbase.

The film primarily highlights Jungkook’s solo activities.

It covers the journey from the release of his first solo single "Seven" (feat. Latto) in July last year, through the production and promotion of his album Golden in November.
Particularly, behind-the-scenes footage of his guerrilla performance in New York and the fan showcases held both online and offline will be featured, raising fans' expectations.

One of the special highlights in the film is the first-ever footage of the recording process of his solo album's title track "Standing Next to You."

This holds a special significance for his fans.

Music critic Kim Mo commented, "It's rare for fans to witness the music production process firsthand, and this will offer them a unique experience."

Additionally, the documentary delves into Jungkook’s reflections on his journey as a solo artist, his growth, and the personal challenges he faced, making it a meaningful gift to his fans.

An entertainment industry insider said, "Showing the inner struggles and growth of an idol transitioning to a solo career is highly significant."

A representative from BTS's agency, BigHit Music, shared, "Jungkook wanted to share the genuine experiences he's had as a solo artist with his fans.

Through this film, audiences will discover new sides of Jungkook."

The delay in confirming international release dates is likely due to careful consideration of local screening environments and the expectations of fans in different countries.

An industry insider remarked, "It seems they're being very deliberate in their approach to meet the high expectations of global fans."

Meanwhile, Jungkook achieved remarkable global success with his solo activities last year.

His debut solo single "Seven" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and his album Golden, along with its title track "Standing Next to You," also reached high positions. These achievements have been recognized as proof of Jungkook's potential as a solo artist.

Jung Kook: I Am Still is set to premiere in Korea on the 18th, with tickets available through CGV.

Once international release dates are finalized, tickets will be available through major cinema chains in each country.

Global BTS fans are looking forward to discovering new sides of Jungkook through the film and gaining deeper insight into his musical world.
