Rookie girl group ILLIT achieved a significant milestone in their debut year by winning the ‘Best New Female Artist’ award at the 2024 MAMA Awards.
The ceremony, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on November 22 at noon (KST), began with a spectacular opening hosted by Hallyu star Park Bo-gum.
This year’s MAMA Awards once again highlighted the global impact of K-pop.
Attendees included renowned American singer-songwriter Anderson .

Marking its 25th anniversary, the 2024 MAMA Awards stood out with its dual-venue format in Los Angeles and Osaka.
After the opening at the Dolby Theatre, the event continued at Japan’s Kyocera Dome in Osaka with a red carpet ceremony at 4 PM.
Chapter 2, held on November 23, featured another red carpet event at 1 PM followed by the main ceremony at 3 PM.
