Set to Visit 10 Countries

Taemin, a member of the K-pop idol group SHINee and a successful solo artist, is set to launch his first solo world tour since his debut on August 31.

The tour, titled '2024 Taemin World Tour - Ephemeral Gaze,' carries special significance as it commemorates the 10th anniversary of his solo debut.

The first performances will take place on August 31 and September 1 at the Incheon Inspire Arena on Yeongjongdo Island.
In this large venue, which can accommodate up to 15,000 people, Taemin will showcase his unique performance skills and musical talents.

This event is seen as an opportunity to highlight his growth as an artist and the wide reach of his fanbase.

The tour's title, 'Ephemeral Gaze,' reflects the idea of a "fleeting glance," symbolizing Taemin's determination to fully express himself on stage without being constrained by others' views.

Taemin "First World Tour Dream Achieved"

This choice of title highlights Taemin's maturity and confidence as an artist.

This year holds special meaning for Taemin, as it marks both his 10th anniversary as a solo artist and the 16th anniversary of SHINee's debut.

While he has participated in several world tours as a member of SHINee, this is his first solo world tour, which underscores his unique commitment and passion for this project.

The concert's structure also reflects Taemin's meticulous planning.
In addition to his past hits, he will perform all seven tracks from his recently released fifth mini-album, 'ETERNAL.' Notably, 'ETERNAL' is the first album Taemin has participated in as a producer, making it a significant work that showcases his musical development.

Through this concert, Taemin plans to present a comprehensive look at his 10-year solo journey on one stage.

A representative from Taemin's agency stated, "Taemin has been preparing from the album production stage to present all the tracks during this concert," adding, "He is putting his heart and soul into creating the best experience for the fans."

This illustrates the importance Taemin places on live performances beyond just album releases.

The world tour will begin in Korea and continue across several countries in Asia, including Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan (Tokyo and Fukuoka), Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, UAE, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Music critic Kim commented, "Taemin's world tour is a significant event that demonstrates both his growth as an artist and the ongoing globalization of K-pop. Conducting a world tour of this scale as a solo artist proves Taemin's individual abilities and the size of his fandom."

Tickets for Taemin's world tour sold out immediately, confirming the immense interest from fans.

In Korea, the high demand even caused temporary server crashes, further highlighting the fans' high expectations for the concert.

Ahead of the tour, Taemin expressed his gratitude, saying, "I thank my fans who have waited for me for so long.

I will show everything I have through this tour." These words suggest that the tour will be a new milestone in Taemin's musical career.

The 'Ephemeral Gaze' tour will include two to three performances in each city and is expected to continue through the first half of next year.

Through this tour, Taemin will showcase his musical talents and performance skills to fans around the world, further solidifying his position as a leading K-pop solo artist.
