RIIZE, the group under SM Entertainment, celebrated the release of their first mini album by hosting an on-and-offline premiere event for their fans.
On the evening of the 17th, the 'RIIZE The 1st Mini Album 'RIIZING' Premiere' was held at the Bluesquare Mastercard Hall in Yongsan, Seoul.
Over 1,000 attendees were present in person, and the event was also live-streamed globally on YouTube, TikTok, and the Weverse RIIZE channel, allowing fans worldwide to join in the celebration.
At the premiere, RIIZE unveiled the stage for their title track 'Boom Boom Bass', characterized by its youthful groove, for the first time, receiving an enthusiastic response.
Special MC Sohee’s witty hosting led to discussions on various topics, including behind-the-scenes of the album production and music video shooting anecdotes.
RIIZE expressed their feelings, saying,
"It's nostalgic to meet here again where we held our debut premiere last year.
We were eager to show 'Boom Boom Bass' as we love it, and we are thrilled that fans are responding even better than we expected. We have prepared a lot of content for our comeback, so we hope you enjoy it."
The album topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 9 regions worldwide, including Brazil, Finland, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Taiwan.
It also ranked first on Japan's Line Music real-time album TOP100 chart and the local platform AWA's real-time rising chart, as well as daily rankings on domestic charts like Hanteo Chart and Kyobo Bookstore.
The title track 'Boom Boom Bass' peaked at 16th on Melon TOP100, 4th on HOT100 (within 30 days of release), 3rd on Bugs real-time chart, and 1st on Vibe rising chart.
Its music video also reached 2nd on YouTube's trending music list, signaling a successful start for the 'RIIZE Boom'.
In celebration of the release, RIIZE will also host a pop-up store at Starfield Suwon Tower Atrium and Grand Atrium until the 23rd.
