Girl group NewJeans has announced an unprecedented debut in Japan, collaborating with cultural icons. On the 11th, their agency Ador announced, "NewJeans has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara, a renowned figure in Japanese street fashion, music producer, and musician."
Hiroshi Fujiwara has stepped forward for NewJeans, designing T-shirts, bandanas, hats, and bags, dubbed 'NewJeans x Hiroshi Fujiwara' items. These items feature graphics printed with Hangul, including the names of NewJeans members and Hiroshi Fujiwara.
NewJeans has captivated attention with their trendy visuals and street vibe, posting photos of themselves in these items on their official SNS, heightening anticipation for their Japanese debut.
Meanwhile, NewJeans is set to release their Japanese debut single 'Supernatural' on the 21st of next month and will hold their debut showcase and first solo concert at the Tokyo Dome on the 26th and 27th.
Ador stated, "To get closer and become more familiar with our Japanese fans, we have decided to hold a fan meeting instead of a traditional debut showcase. The members are diligently preparing."
