NewJeans' New Song 'How Sweet' Climbs Spotify Global Chart

NewJeans' new song 'How Sweet' has shown a remarkable rise on the Spotify global chart.

According to the latest chart (as of May 25) released by the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, on the 27th, NewJeans' double single 'How Sweet' and its title track of the same name climbed 57 spots to reach 81st place on the Spotify Global 'Daily Top Songs' chart compared to the previous day.

Despite the chart being filled with new releases from famous pop stars like Billie Eilish, NewJeans recorded a notable leap. In fact, 'How Sweet' by NewJeans had the biggest jump in ranking among all the songs listed that day.

NewJeans also maintained strong popularity on major domestic music charts like Melon, Bugs, and FLO, with both 'How Sweet' and the B-side track 'Bubble Gum' holding top positions. The album sold over 810,000 copies on its first day of release, signaling their fourth 'million seller' milestone.

The music video is also gaining significant attention. The 'How Sweet' music video topped YouTube's global daily trending music video chart for two consecutive days (May 24 and May 25), proving its global appeal.
