NewJeans' Japanese Debut Single 'Supernatural' Reaches High Positions on US Billboard Charts

On July 2nd (local time), NewJeans' Japanese debut single "Supernatural" secured high positions on major US Billboard charts.

According to the latest chart (dated July 6th), NewJeans' title track "Supernatural" debuted at 14th on the "Global (Excluding US)" chart and 25th on the "Global 200" chart.

The track "Right Now" from the same single also entered both charts, indicating a strong dual popularity.

Additionally, the double single title track "How Sweet" and the track "Bubble Gum," released in May, have been performing well on the "Global (Excluding US)" and "Global 200" charts for five consecutive weeks.

With these achievements, NewJeans has placed all four new songs from "How Sweet" and "Supernatural" on the Billboard Global Song Charts, proving their global popularity.

Particularly, their songs have been showing strong performance on major music charts in Korea and Japan following their fan meeting at Tokyo Dome.

"Supernatural" topped the real-time chart on Bugs (as of 4 PM on July 2nd) and reached its highest position of 8th on Melon's "Top 100" (as of 11 PM on July 2nd).

Despite being a Japanese single, it entered Melon's "Top 100" at 34th on its release day (June 21st) and has been steadily climbing the ranks.

In Japanese music charts, NewJeans' momentum is also impressive.

On July 1st, "Supernatural" climbed two spots to 15th on Spotify Japan's "Daily Top Song" chart.

A total of 11 NewJeans songs are on this chart.

On Apple Music Japan's "Top 100," "How Sweet" (12th) and "Supernatural" (13th) are among nine songs from NewJeans that are receiving love.

Previously, "Supernatural" debuted at No. 1 on Oricon's "Daily Single Ranking" on its release day and maintained the top spot for three consecutive days (June 21st-23rd).

The title track "Supernatural" also reached No. 1 on Line Music's real-time and daily charts.

Additionally, NewJeans attracted approximately 91,200 fans to their "Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome" fan meeting held on June 26th-27th.

They showcased over 20 diverse stages, receiving praise from fans and local media alike.

NewJeans continues their activities in Japan, including a live performance on Fuji TV's "FNS Music Festival" on July 3rd.
