Kim Soo-hyun Receives Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award at the 6th Newsis Hallyu Expo

Actor Kim Soo-hyun has once again proven his status as a Hallyu star by receiving the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award at the 6th Newsis Hallyu Expo (hereafter referred to as "K-Expo").

The "K-Expo," held on the 22nd at The Great Hall of Josun Palace in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, was launched in 2019 with the aim of enhancing the sustainability of Hallyu and the competitiveness of the cultural industry.

The event has established itself as an occasion to honor individuals and companies who have contributed to the spread and development of K-Culture each year.

On this day, Kim Soo-hyun was honored with the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award for his outstanding acting skills and his contribution to the global spread of Hallyu through the tvN drama 'Queen of Tears.'

As his name was called as the award recipient, the many fans gathered at the venue erupted in enthusiastic applause.

Receiving the trophy, Kim Soo-hyun expressed his joy, saying, "This year, I was fortunate to be part of a great project and received so much love.
I'm honored and happy to receive such a precious award." He also thanked everyone involved in the drama, saying, "I want to thank all those who loved 'Queen of Tears,' including the writer, director, and all my senior and junior colleagues."
