Kara to Release Full Group Track 'Hello' Featuring Late Goo Hara's Voice

The legendary second-generation girl group Kara will release a full group track featuring the voice of the late Goo Hara, who passed away in 2019.
On the 16th at 6 PM, the digital single 'I Do I Do' with the track 'Hello' will be pre-released on various music platforms.

'Hello' is a ballad centered around the theme of greetings and farewells.

The song expresses the various meanings of the word 'hello,' such as the joy of reunion and the sorrow of parting, through the voices of the members.

According to Kara's agencies RBW and DSP Media, "'Hello' was originally an unreleased track that was supposed to be included in Kara's fourth studio album 'Full Bloom,' released in September 2013." They added, "The voice of Goo Hara, recorded in Korean during her lifetime, was added to complete a version featuring all six members."

This song was already released as a Japanese version on Goo Hara's Japanese single 'Midnight Queen' in 2019
,

raising expectations among fans for this newly released Korean version.

Before the pre-release of the song, the Kara members posted a moving poster of 'Hello' on their official SNS channels at midnight on the 16th, garnering attention from fans.

Music critics have stated, "The release of this track will hold a special meaning for Kara fans," and "the full group track featuring the voice of the late Goo Hara will bring comfort and nostalgia to fans."

This release is a rare example in the K-pop industry,

and it is expected to spark ethical discussions regarding the release of a full group track with the voice of a deceased member. An industry insider said, "It appears to be a decision that respects the wishes of the deceased while considering the desires of the fans."

This release will not only evoke nostalgic feelings among second-generation K-pop fans but also provide current K-pop idol groups with an opportunity to reflect on the legacy of their predecessors.

With the release of 'Hello,' expectations are also rising for Kara's new digital single 'I Do I Do.' Fans are looking forward to once again experiencing Kara's unique musical style and harmony through the full group track.
