ENHYPEN Begins New Series with Second Full Album 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD'... "A Different Side with Sweet Serenade"

ENHYPEN opens a new series with their second full album, 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD'. At their showcase held on the 11th at the Handball Stadium in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, ahead of the album's release on the 12th, ENHYPEN revealed that this album showcases a bright and romantic side, departing from their previous dark and intense concepts.

Heeseung introduced the album as "one that involved much deliberation on its direction," while Jungwon added, "It was born out of many discussions, as it's our first full album in 2 years and 9 months."

This album tells the love story of two people from different worlds. Sunghoon described it as "the story of a boy who devotes himself to someone who makes him a better person," likening it to the growth of ENHYPEN through the recognition and love of their fans.

The title track 'XO' captures the album's narrative with its rhythmic sound and catchy synth melody.
Sunoo praised its addictive melody from the first listen, while Ni-ki mentioned, "It's a bright song unlike our usual dark concept, but I feel confident about our activities."

Jake described the choreography as "cool, cute, and sexy, shedding some of the conceptual elements."
Jungwon explained the shift, saying, "We aimed for a direction closer to romance and brightness to match the album's narrative."

The album includes various tracks like 'Moonstruck', 'Your Eyes Only', and 'Hundred Broken Hearts'.

Notably, all members participated in writing their first fan song, 'Highway 1009', with Heeseung also involved in its production.

Jay said, "It's a meaningful album as we all participated in its creation."

Despite the simultaneous comebacks of other famous artists, Jay expressed excitement, saying,

"We're happy to come back at the same time as our great seniors. We believe we can showcase something new with our unique strengths."

Music critics have praised ENHYPEN's new direction as a good attempt to broaden their musical spectrum, stating that it appears to be a strategic move to maintain their existing fan base while attracting new fans.
