On the 24th at 1 PM (Korean time), RM will release his second solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' on various music platforms.
This new album comes approximately 1 year and 5 months after his first solo album 'Indigo', which was released in December 2022.
The new release addresses universal emotions, conveying a message of empathy to those struggling to find answers during moments when they feel like outsiders.
The album consists of a total of 11 tracks. In addition to the title track 'LOST!', it includes songs like 'Right Place, Wrong Person', 'Nuts', 'Out of Love', and 'Heaven'.
Each song is organically connected. RM explores the main theme of 'Right and Wrong' with the pre-released song 'Come Back to Me'.
He delves into the conflicting emotions of desiring challenges while also wanting to stay comfortable in reality. In 'LOST!', he highlights people who are lost due to this contradiction.
Ultimately, the album speaks of hope. Through the title track, RM comforts by saying, "Even if we are lost, it’s okay as long as we have friends by our side."
This album is filled with RM's unique color, with him participating in the lyrics of all the songs. It's not just about the music; he also personally selected the staff for effective visuals.
Talented musicians have also contributed to the album. Collaborations include Silica Gel's Kim Han-joo, Hyukoh's Oh Hyuk, American duo Domi & JD Beck, and Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster's Guo Guo.
RM plans to sequentially release music videos and live videos of the album's tracks starting on the 28th.
