Jungkook of BTS continues to thrive in popularity on Spotify.
Jungkook's first solo album 'GOLDEN', released in November last year, recently achieved a milestone with the track 'Hate You' surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify. This marks his 14th track to achieve over 100 million streams on the world's largest music streaming platform.
Among his tracks that have reached this milestone are 'Hate You', along with other 'GOLDEN' album tracks like 'Seven', '3D', 'Standing Next to You', 'Yes or No', 'Please Don't Change', his self-composed song 'Still with You', the webtoon OST 'Stay Alive', the official soundtrack of the 2022 FIFA World Cup 'Dreamers', collaboration songs 'Left and Right' and 'Too Much', and his solo tracks from BTS albums such as 'Euphoria', 'My Time', and 'Begin'.
Jungkook's 'GOLDEN' set a new record by achieving six tracks with over 100 million streams in just 202 days, the shortest period among Asian artists' albums.
Previously, Jungkook has accomplished having five songs with over 500 million streams (3D, Seven, Standing Next to You, Left and Right, Euphoria) on Spotify. He holds the record for the most songs with over 600 million streams (Seven, Standing Next to You, Left and Right) among K-pop solo artists.
'GOLDEN' also made history as the first album by an Asian solo artist and the fastest studio album by an Asian artist to surpass 3.5 billion streams on Spotify.
The album track 'Seven' achieved 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams (pre-filtering) in the shortest time ever on Spotify. Recently, it also became the first K-pop solo song to reach 1.6 billion streams, setting a new record for Asian and K-pop artists.
'Standing Next to You' has surpassed 630 million streams, '3D' over 550 million, 'Yes or No' over 160 million, 'Please Don't Change' over 100 million, 'Still with You' over 180 million, 'Stay Alive' over 290 million, 'Dreamers' over 410 million, 'Left and Right' over 930 million, 'Too Much' over 130 million, 'Euphoria' over 570 million, 'My Time' over 250 million, and 'Begin' over 150 million streams.
Jungkook also set a new record as the first K-pop solo artist to surpass 5.9 billion streams on Spotify across all credits on his personal account, further solidifying his impressive presence.
