BLACKPINK members are fully embarking on their individual activities. Following Jennie and Jisoo’s solo ventures, Lisa and Rosé have now detailed their own solo plans, setting the stage for all members to pursue separate projects. With YG Entertainment having extended their contract for group activities, fans are eager to see how the group will reunite.
On June 19, Lisa and Rosé revealed their upcoming plans. Lisa will release her new solo track, 'ROCKSTAR', on June 28 at 9 AM. Earlier this year, Lisa established her own agency, Loud Company, and formed a partnership with RCA Records, a label under Sony Music. 'ROCKSTAR' marks her first release since this partnership. Lisa's TikTok account quickly gained over 1 million followers within two hours of its launch, setting a Guinness World Record and drawing significant attention.
Rosé announced on her social media that she has joined The Black Label, headed by producer Teddy. She stated, "Since late last year, I've been working in the studio almost daily on new music. Expect some exciting announcements soon," hinting at her comeback.
Meanwhile, Jennie and Jisoo, who have founded their own independent agencies after leaving YG, are actively pursuing solo careers. Jennie has made appearances on variety shows like 'The Seasons' and 'Apartment 404'. She continues her musical endeavors, featuring on Zico's new track 'Spot!' in April, and has been frequently updating fans on her solo album progress.
